Alpha Course - because life has more to offer. a place to explore the Christian faith

Our parish runs an ALPHA course twice a year. This is a foundation course in the Christian faith which has been conducted around the world in around 150 countries and 40 languages since 1991.

Alpha is all about the fundamental themes of the Christian faith:

• Who is Jesus?
• Why did he die?
• How do I pray?
• How can I read the bible?
• Who is the Holy Spirit?
• Does God still heal today?

The course goes for a total of 10 weeks, and in the middle we offer a weekend away. Each evening begins with dinner, which is then followed by music and a presentation. An important aspect of the course is the exchanging of experiences within discussion groups, where each guest is invited to contribute their questions, doubts and experiences on the relevant themes.

The Alpha Dinner is THE best way to get an impression of the course and to get to meet other guests.

Faith course

1st Tuesday of the month from 10 am to noon.

This is where more in-depth issues of the Christian faith are discussed. The participants can raise any questions they are grappling with, and the course content will be tailored accordingly.
